Motel: The Red Roof Inn, located at 5425 West Michigan Avenue, Kalamazoo, is holding non-smoking two double bed rooms for $71.99. Call 269-375-7400 and ask for the reserved group “Sacred Harp” by July 2. They provide coffee, but no breakfast. There are many restaurants on Stadium Drive, on the way to the singing. There will be coffee, fruit and cookies at the singing. Directions: From US-131 turn at Exit 36b. Turn right at first light, 11th Street, then right on West Michigan. Motel will be on the right. There are many other motels in the area and a big soccer tournament is held that weekend. Please make your overnight plans as soon as possible. Social: There will be a Saturday evening social from 6 to 9 pm at Bill and Martha Beverly’s home at 529 Pinehurst Boulevard in Kalamazoo, Michigan. A light supper will be served. All are welcome. Directions will be available at Saturday’s Michiana Singing in Goshen, Indiana.
